Painting - for me!

I got it ready! I needed a painting for my home decoration - so I made the painting!
I've been decorating with black & white & little bit of yellow. Also, I really like detailed lineart works of flowers etc, so I wanted to try add that style in it.
I'll show you this later again with frames and on my wall!

I might still change and fix something, since I might get critical before putting it on my wall. :P It's not easy to do a painting for your own wall for decoration, it can be the hardest thing to do. But I had a ready idea in my mind so it helped a lot.

 I'm back in action, and my trip was Great! Still having some vacation time before my last year on school and other things.

1000 watchers on DeviantArt

Yesterday I hit 1000 watchers on DeviantArt so I draw this :) It's my own character called Lin, and also like me in animal form. You can read more about it on Deviantart link below if you are interested.

It was really enjoyable drawing on this, even though I continued on 5am. : ))

Finished new work - Unseen

I had this topic on DeviantArt, where I asked people to give me their character for a drawing which is not a dog / cat / human. Even though I had more than enough work things to draw and other things, I was just eager to draw something different and for someone. I have this little 'rule' for me, day time - is for important work drawings, but night time I can draw what I want. :3 so, I've already put this on my DeviantArt and Facebook art page but here it is for here too. The character is Berneri's Jokull.

What I have noticed is, drawing is so much easier and nicer when you decide your color palette Before drawing. For here too, I was thinking about the colors what I want to draw, looking for winter photographs, color palettes, etc. Then when I knew the colors, it was just easier to start. Some of you this might be like - of course - but for me, I haven't usually done it. But yeah, it's so much fun to draw when you get inspiration from colors.



Now I should get some sleep!

Old and new

As I've been drawing my childhood monsters again, now here is one of my I could say first full character from my childhood 2005, redrawn! I created him for a role playing game forum which yess was one of my hobbies back in the days, I was 12 year old. :D (In case you don't know what forum based role playing means, it's simply where you write stories about your own character with other people and everyone continues the story with their own characters point of view.) During that time I started to draw A Lot on computer also.

I think it's fun to put your not just old drawing next to a new one, now there is my child's mind creation also, and how 'it would look now'.
